According to the publication's website, A BOOK OF (Magazine)[1] is an independent English-language American Arts and Culture magazine based in Los Angeles, California that encourages discourse and creativity.

The publication is available in digital, print-on-demand issues and also a bi-annual print book. The first print issue of the publication is launched in 2019 with Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp as one of the cover stars.

The magazine's website states that the title A BOOK OF "exists to place whatever story we are telling to the forefront. In our publication, Story rules. Whatever the method and the medium, our mission is to share the best stories to our audience.[2]"

One thing that sets A BOOK OF apart is that it shares a percentage of its sales to a specific charity or cause related to the issue's specific theme and contents.[3]

The publication was founded in 2017 by fashion photographer Irvin Rivera. He is also the current editor-in-chief of the publication.

The magazine features celebrity, artists, designers and musician interviews alongside fashion editorials, beauty shoots as well as essays and opinion pieces.

In addition to its bi-annual print issues, the magazine also releases special print-on-demand issues that features specific talents, artists or topics.

Online sections include Fashion Folio, Arts & Culture, Film, Open Book, Music Library, Beauty Journals, Book Reviews, Bookshelf, No Space For Words.

The magazine commissions creative talents and accepts contributions from photographers and artists globally.
