- A Feral World was shot over the course of four years. The lead actor, Caleb Liban was 11 when filming the first installment and 15 at the time of the final shoot. The audience not only sees the actor's age over the course of the film but this process allowed for the micro-budgeted film to be made with existing resources.
- The movie started as a single short film called, Feral. That film was screened at the Boston Sci-fi Film festival.
- The director is also a professor at the University of Colorado Denver's Department of Film & TV and collaborated with students and colleagues in the making of this film as an educational opportunity.
