A Suit That Fits is British tailoring business. It was set up by David Hathiramani and Warren Bennett in 2006, as a way to achieve their twin ambitions of becoming entrepreneurs and helping the British public to be better dressed.[1] A Suit That Fits ethically hand tailor bespoke suits. With now 33 branches nationwide, A Suit That Fits is fast becoming Britain's local tailor.[2]

History[edit]

The business was founded by Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani in June 2006. Following a gap year teaching web design in a school in Nepal, Warren stayed with a family of tailors who made him a fine woolen suit. On returning to the UK, Warren and David met and decided to work with the family of tailors to create A Suit That Fits.[3]

Operations[edit]

With its head office in London with 30 members of staff in the UK and most of the entry level suits are machine sewn in Nepal. A Suit That Fits believes in building long-term relationships through responsible business - achieving commercial success while incorporating ethical values and respect for people, communities and the environment. All the tailors that are employed by A Suit That Fits, from its cutters through to its stitchers, are paid significantly above the national average and receive work-related bonuses.
