Aakanksha Sharma is an Indian playback singer, who has sung songs like "Dhal Jaun Main" (with Jubin Nautiyal) in Rustam and "Tu Alvida" in Traffic (2016), both of the songs gained popularity. [1] She was a contestant at the 2011 reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
Career
Aakanksha was a contestant at the 2010 reality show Chhote Ustaad, which she eventually won with her Pakistani partner Rouhan. She went on to participate and become 1st Runner-up at the 2011 Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, losing the finale to Mohammed Irfan. After that, in 2016 she was given a break by popular composer Jeet Ganguly to sing "Dhal Jaun Main" opposite Jubin Nautiyal which became a chartbuster.
