His father was a restaurant equipment salesman, and his mother was a stay at home mom, suffering from Fibromyalgia. Aaron attended Nansemond River High School.[7] In order to escape his chaotic home life, Dalla Villa focused on his studies, and at the age of 11 he became involved in Jazz learning the Tenor saxophone through his school.

Dalla Villa then auditioned for the prestigious Governor's School for the Arts in Norfolk, Virginia for both music and dance and was accepted into the music department in 2006. He then transferred into the dance program and studied under Todd Rosenlieb.[8] He trained incredibly hard to become a member at the top of his class and was awarded the Louise lowenthal Award for excellence in dance upon his graduation in 2010.

Wanting to pursue his dance education further, Dalla Villa was accepted into the New York University Tisch School of the Arts with scholarship. Dalla Villa's father refused to co-sign his loan, so unable to continue at university, Aaron moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the summer of 2010 to join the 2nd company at the Nashville Ballet Company.[9]

He danced in ballet for 2 years where he had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the first company in Paul Vasterling's productions of Cinderella in 2011[10] and The Nutcracker in 2012.[11]

Upon spraining his ankle, leaving him unable to do dance while he recovered, Aaron's roommate at the time, Justin Cornwell encouraged him to try acting. Dalla Villa signed with Wayne Gasser, of the Gasser Group[12] and moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.

Aaron began gaining notoriety for his acting after starring in a production of Lyle Kessler's stage play Orphans in Huntington, New York in 2015.[13]

From then on Aaron worked consistently in film and TV roles. Dalla Villa notably went on to star in the 2017 Blackpills original series Duels, playing the lead role of Malcolm Carver.[14] Afterwards he played the lead antagonist, Maxwell Peterson III, in the 2018, IFC Midnight, cult classic Pledge.[15]
