Abelaine Saunar Trinidad (アベレイン トリニダード Aberein torinidādo, born July 31, 1997, in Cavite, Philippines) is a Filipino Idol debuted on April 2018. She is an official member of the all-girl Filipino idol group MNL48 [1] which is the Philippine chapter of Japanese pop group phenomenon AKB48.[2] Abby Trinidad is part of MNL48's first generation members, She ranked #2 on the First MNL48 Senbatsu election; [3] that was announced at the noontime show It's Showtime on April 14, 2018.

At age 20, Abby became a member of MNL48's first generation, She's part of Team NIV,[4] which is composed of 16 girls and debuted on April 28, 2018.
In 2018, Abby was elected as the rank 2 on the first MNL48 General Elections [3],which is described as a popularity contest. As a result Abby was part of the groups first ever senbatsu and is part of the Kami 7 [5] together with the First MNL48 center girl Sheki Arzaga, Sela Guia, Christine Coloso, Zennae Inot, Alice de Leon and Trixie Tano. But unfortunately 2 of the Kami 7 left the group [6] Zennae Inot and Trixie Tano, Their places in the Top 7 were given to Ella Amat,and Ashley Garcia who were part of the Top 16 girls of the group.
On August 13, 2018, MNL48 has finally announced the release of their debut single Aitakatta-Gustong makita [7] ,a tagalized version of AKB48 song of the same title[7], Based from AKB48's tradition on costume and album launching, MNL48 used the Japanese school uniform as the official costume for their first single which sung by the top 16 members also known as the senbatsu in which Abby was included.
After 3 months, on November 5, 2018 a new batch of senbatsu was announced for their second single Pag-Ibig Fortune Cookie. Abby was still part of the new senbatsu on the same rank (#2) together with Ella, Faith, Alyssa, Jem, Gabb, Sela and Sheki who remains to be the Center Girl, 8 members was promoted to be part of the 2nd single senbatsu, the following are Brei, Belle, Coleen, Rans, Lei, Mari, Jan and Kay.
