Abdullatif Mohammed Al-Ali Al-Abdullatif (1378 AH / 1959 AD) is a Saudi businessman, partner and member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Al-Ghazali Trading Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sinan International Trading Corporation.

Early Life[edit]

Abdullatif Mohammed Al-Ali Al-Abdullatif (Abu Khaled) was born in 1378 AH / 1959 AD to a family that worked in trade, and his father worked in the Swiss watches trading industry. He received his primary education in the city of Riyadh, and intermediate and secondary education in the city of Jeddah. Abdullatif began working at an early age when his father, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Ali Al-Abdullatif, gave him the opportunity to work at the age of eight. Despite being one of "Al-Ghazali Trading Establishment" founder's sons of before it turned into a major company, he started his career that spanned for more than 50 years with a job as a simple worker in His father’s establishment. When he completed his primary education in Riyadh, his father decided to transfer him to work in the institution’s branch in Jeddah with his older brother Ali, and he moved up the career ladder and after he obtained his business diploma, and became responsible for all the work and activities of the institution in the western and southern regions, in addition to that taking over the tasks of real estate management in Makkah, Madinah and the southern region.[1]

Al-Abdullatif took the position of CEO of Al-Ghazali Trading Company and became a partner and member of the Board of Directors after it was transformed from a sole proprietorship to the Al-Ghazali Trading Company.

He was also elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Zulfi Governorate in the fourth session from 1436 AH to 1440 AH, in addition to being a member of the Council of Saudi Chambers. During this period he participated in many of the Council of Saudi Chambers' meetings inside and outside the Kingdom, and during his presidency of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry In Al-Zulfi Governorate, Abdullatif was keen to support Al-Zulfi's entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium businesses. He also contributed to the development of the industrial city in the governorate and through his donations and initiatives he left a great impact in supporting educational, sports and social activities.

Abdullatif gained from his father sufficient experience through which he became acquainted with the world of finance and business that taught him how to deal and benefit from life's variables. He recalls his first job in the Al-Ghazali Trading Establishment as a buffet worker, and he believes that this job was a great letter from his father that carries many meanings and lessons that he later benefited from in his working life.

During his career, supported by his practical experience and continuous dedication, he contributed to the development of the company's business and worked diligently on diversifying its activities. It became a global name in the world of trade at the local, Arab and international levels, and the name of Al-Ghazali Trading Company became synonymous with the most famous international brands of Swiss watches such as (Rado, Ebel, Tissot, Certina, Maurice Lacroix, Mido, Hamilton, Concord), where the company has acquired the agency of these prestigious Swiss brands in the Saudi market for more than 50 years.[2][3]

Abdullatif has the experience, accuracy and farsightedness in exploring investment opportunities that contribute to keeping pace with the economic development that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing in light of the 2030 Vision, and he always strives to provide the needs of the Saudi market. His broad investment ideas had a major role in diversifying his commercial activity, as he established the Sinan International Foundation For trade in 2012[4] which works in the field of marketing modern printing machines produced by Flex Europe. Abdullatif is also active in the field of real estate development, marketing and investment in a number of regions of the Kingdom and confirms that Saudi Arabia is witnessing a wide urban movement, especially in major cities.

Abdullatif believes that there is a national role that companies and all private sectors in any country must play in the context of their social responsibility in order to enhance social values, he firmly believes that the support, motivation and encouragement of teachers contributes to developing the capabilities of students. This is why he is keen on adopting initiatives and awards that contribute to the advancement of the educational process, and his material and moral support lead to the "Fakhr Al Zulfi for the Distinguished Teacher" award, which was launched by the Education Department in Zulfi Governorate to stimulate the educational field[5] and education towards better performance, encouraging distinguished practices and spreading the culture of excellence and work for perfection. Good education outcomes from his point of view will ultimately serve the labor market and its economic institutions, which contribute to achieving the comprehensive development of the country and its citizens.

From Abdullatif Al-Abdullatif’s point of view, “a healthy mind in a healthy body” is a scientific fact, not a wisdom that we echo.
