Abed Naseri Douraki (Persian: عابد ناصری دورکی) is an Iranian YouTuber, vlogger and programmer.[1] In 2019 he founded a startup named DoBeeDo which was meant to help students get help from their neighbors or their peers. [2] He then published a business paper about his startup in 2019. [3][4]

Education

Naseri studied a bachelor of IT Engineering in Iran. [2] He then immigrated to Germany in 2016 to continue his studies in a Master program in Web Science at University of Koblenz. [1][2] In 2019 Naseri published a paper about willingness to pay and willingness to accept on two-sided platforms. [3][4]

Professional career

In Iran, Naseri started working as a web developer at Parto company.[1] After finishing his master’s in Web Science, he started working as a full-time programmer in a German company. [1]

DoBeeDo

DoBeeDo was a startup project started by Naseri to help students get help in their area. The idea emerged when he needed two glasses from a furniture store, but the time invested to get the glasses was unreasonably high, so he started thinking about how he could make such tasks get done faster. He eventually thought it would be nice to have an app where you can ask a neighbor who is anyway going to that store to pick up your stuff. The DoBeeDo team had four key people: Abed as developer, Alisa as UI Designer and concept developer, Muji as Backend developer and Janick as Business developer.[2]

YouTube

Becoming a YouTuber was more like an accident for Naseri. He was active on Instagram and was making some videos but never considered posting to YouTube so seriously, since the platform is banned in Iran, Naseri thought no one would watch. [1]

First Viral Video

Naseri eventually created a YouTube Channel and published some videos. One of the very first videos – the one about renting flats in Germany – went viral. There he saw that there was potential and increased his activity on the platform. [1]

Most Viewed

The most successful video on his channel is the "How I learned English without going to a language course" (Persian: "چجوری من بدون کلاس زبان انگلیسی یاد گرفتم") video, where he explains how to learn English with some simple techniques at home.[1][5]

Hadi Teherani

In 2021 he made a video where he interviewed Hadi Teherani, the prominent German-Iranian Architect. This video was about Teherani's professional success and his recommendations for the younger generation.
