Aberdeen Collection
Aberdeen Collection is a now defunct clothing company that made men's jackets. Not much can be found on the collection aside from listings on online resale websites such as eBay, Grailed, Mercari and Poshmark. Many list the jackets as being from the 1980s to 1990s. Size range that can be found ranges from small to XXL.
Logo History
The Collection has had four or more different logos throughout its history.
One is a beige patch with a crest in the middle and the name starting above and ending below it; on the left it states "Genuine Quality", and on the right "Casual Comfort". The crest has an animal on either side, and the crest itself is divided into four with the top left and bottom right being white with a red character inside, and the other sides being navy. On top of the crest is a red object. There is gold leafing surrounding the picture. The word Collection is red while all other text is a deep navy. This is assumed to be the oldest design. They may all have been made in Macau.[1]
Much harder to find listings for are the yellow logos. These have the crest take up much more of the patch; the background is black while the crest is white and yellow. The crest is easier to make out and the word Collection has been removed. This was found on a leather jacket that was made in India[2]
The next is a more simplified design. A rectangular logo with a line separating Aberdeen from Collection. In the center of the line is a small red and yellow triangle. Made in India[3]
The final logo is the same as the last, excluding the line and triangle. Having been made in China and India.[4]
