Abhijeet Gholap (born 1st January) is an alumnus of Stanford Graduate School of Business and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.[4], [5]

Career[edit]

Abhijeet Gholap started his career with multinational companies in India and USA. In 2002, Abhijeet co-founded his first entrepreneurial venture, BioImagene.[6] that acquired Scimagix in 2004. Abhijeet is known for his leadership[7] in Digital Pathology [8] owing to his experience in radiology imaging. In addition to M&A expertise [9]. Abhijeet has several international patents [10] to his credit and several research publications[11], including prestigious Nature (journal) [12]. Abhijeet co-founded Optra group of companies with innovation as an essential foundation. [13]. Abhijeet’s work on computer aided cancer diagnostics system is recognized globally by leading analysts firms.[14] and organizations [15].

Through his latest venture, OptraSCAN,[16] Abhijeet has sought regulatory clearance for invitro-diagnostics in European continent [17], Abhijeet is co-founder and Chairman of OptraHEALTH specializing in conversational AI to interpret genetic test reports [17]

Media and Entertainment[edit]

In 2011, Abhijeet Gholap ventured into Media and Entertainment segment when he produced his first feature film Deool that won 3 national awards in India.[18]. After success of DEOOL, Abhijeet produced his second feature film, BHARATIYA on the social topic presented as a black humor.[19]. Like his innovative approaches in Healthcare industry, Abhijeet always emphasized on innovative presentations in Marathi Film Industry [20]
