Asha Singh (1 August 1955 - 30 August 2021) was an Indian businesswoman and politician.[1][2][3] She was the Director of the Shree Digamber Group of Hospitals and the Shree Digamber Group of Nursing Institutions.[4][5][6][7] She was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Bharatpur, Rajasthan and was a critical women leader of the party in Eastern Rajasthan. She was the wife of Dr. Digamber Singh, the former Health & Industries Minister of Rajasthan, and the mother of Dr. Shailesh Digamber Singh, the current Member of the Legislative Assembly from Deeg-Kumher Assembly constituency in Rajasthan.[8][9][10]
Death[edit]
After a prolonged illness, Asha Singh died at the Eternal Heart Care Centre in Jaipur at the age of 66.[11]
