Adam Vaughan (born June 21, 1977) is an American Air Force veteran, a global security specialist at Meta, and a travel enthusiast.[1]
Career[edit]
Vaughan worked for the United States Air Force as a global security operations manager, authority, and advisor with secret and top-secret clearances. He provided domestic and international protection to government agencies including the United States President, foreign dignitaries, and military bases.[2]
After serving in the Air Force for twenty years, Vaughan joined Meta as a Global Product Security Services Manager in June 2019.[3] His role at Facebook is to develop and deliver a Global Security strategy to protect intellectual property and confidential information.[4][5][6]
Travel[edit]
The diversity that Vaughan experienced while traveling around the world developed a passion for exploring the different cultures, food, and architecture.[7] He frequently visits London for work and is fond of Prague due to its gothic architecture.[5][6] Vaughan maintains detailed documentation of his travels on his online blog and wishes to make a career out of his travels and knowledge of various cultures.[8][9] He draws inspiration from people like Anthony Bourdain, who encouraged him to travel and explore more, Gordon Ramsay, Banksy, Vincent Van Gogh, and Elon Musk.[10]
