Adam Groffman
Adam Groffman is an American travel journalist, writer, blogger and speaker. He is the author of the travel blog Travels of Adam, one of the top 5 LGBT travel blogs according to 7x7 (magazine)[1].
Life[edit]
In his early career, Groffman was a professional graphic designer working with international brands, but in 2010 sold all his belongings to travel around the world[2].
Since then, his writing has been published in The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveler, and Vanity Fair. Groffman was a contributing writer for the 2016 Fodor's Germany guidebook[3] and 2016 Fodor's Essential Europe: The Best of 25 Exceptional Countries'[4]'. Groffman has also participated as an LGBT panelist in the New York Times Travel Show,[5] Social Media Week,[6] and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association.[7]

Groffman has been quoted as a gay travel expert for many international publications such as Mashable,[8] Edge Media Network,[9] and Paste Magazine.[10]
In 2015, Groffman was featured as an expert on "Hipster Holidays" in a Global Trends Report produced by World Travel Market.[11]
In 2016, Groffman was awarded the Gold Award from the North American Travel Journalists Association[12] for his series of self-published "Hipster City Guides." He is also the LGBT travel columnist for NomadicMatt.com by Matthew Kepnes.
