Dapo Adelegan (born Adedapo Oluwaseyi Adelegan on 20 April, 1962) is a Nigerian Marketing, communications and PR expert, Politician, and serial entrepreneur. Dapo's articles have appeared on punch Newspaper[1] and Businesspost[2]

Early life[edit]
Prince Dapo Adelegan was born in Lagos, Nigeria on April 20, 1962, to the royal family of Adelegan of Ijebu-Owo, Owo, Ondo state. From growing up with his grandmother, losing his father at age 11 to serving with his mother at her modest catering shop in Akure, Ondo state.

Dapo had his primary education at Ladi-lak Institute in Yaba and had his secondary education at the CMS Grammar School Lagos where he concluded his O levels. He had his A levels at the School of Arts and Science Ikare, Ondo State. He was admitted to the University of Ilorin, kwara state between 1984 and 1987 and graduated with a BA Hons in English Language. Between 1989- 1990. In 2002, he attended the Owner Manager Program of the Lagos Business School and in 2012, the Chief Executive Program of the same institution. Dapo"s journey into entrepreneurship started with Lekki Sunsplash which he organized and it was a success, Africa‟s biggest musical event in 1988. This concert led to a radical re-engineering that changed the Nigerian musical scene. His concert led to a radical re-engineering that changed the Nigerian musical scene. Talents were harnessed, and the famed Alibaba, the iconic comedian, in his biography, mentioned Dapo Adelegan as a foundational part of his success. Artistes like Lagbaja (the masked one): King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, KWAM 1; Alex Zitto; Daniel Wilson, Majek Fashek, Mandators; Ras Kimono and Pasuma Wonder, are some of the artistes who owe their rise to fame and prominence, to the erstwhile annual Lekki Sunsplash.[3]
Dapo conceived and executed the Made-In- Nigeria Exhibition, MINEX[4], in the UK in 1999 and 2000, as well as in South Africa in 2004, 2005, and 2006 with his company PR Africa International in partnership with the Nigeria Export Promotion Council, Nigerian Investment Promotion Council, and the Nigerian High Commissions in the United Kingdom and South Africa. It was the first of its kind.
He became the 14th President[5] of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce in 2015, a chamber he had served for 22 years before becoming President. In three years of service 2015-2017, the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) recorded a 71.51 percent spike in revenue under his administration. Adelegan's achievement remains unparalleled. He is presently Chairman, Investment & Trade Committee[6] of the Chamber.
He is the Group Managing Director of Celtron Group a company member[7] of Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce.

Dapo consistently received the PMAN Music Promoter of the year award from 1989- 2006, as well as the Success Digest Nigeria Entrepreneur of the year 2007.

Prince Dapo is a politician.[8] He is a member of All Progressive Congress, the ruling party in the country.

Prince Dapo is a steady Christian and shows kindness for individuals. In spite of stowing a degree in English, Adelegan feels progressively great with Yoruba adore. He is blessed with a Beautiful Wife and successful children
