Adekunle Adebiyi (born 4 November 1970) is a Nigerian business executive.[1] He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at ITEX Integrated Services. Before that, he was the Chief Sales and Distribution Officer at MTN Nigeria.[2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

He was born in Ilaro, a town in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria.[4]

He began his education at Nawairudeen Primary School, he then attended Baptist High School and Anglican Grammar School in Ilaro for his secondary education.[4]

He completed his secondary education in 1985 and graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife in 1991. In 2021, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin (Nigeria).[4][5]

Career[edit]

He began his career at Pfizer Products Plc. (Livestock Feeds Plc) in the animal health department. In 1997, he transitioned to sales and was promoted to Area Sales Manager, overseeing sales in several states.[6]

Adebiyi had experience in sales operations at Econet Wireless Nigeria Limited, Vee Networks Ltd., Celtel (now Airtel) Nigeria Limited, and Visafone Communications Limited.[6][7][8] Adebiyi joined MTN Nigeria in 2012 as the general manager of sales and was promoted to chief sales and distribution officer in 2018.[9]

In 2022, Adebiyi left MTN Nigeria to join ITEX Integrated Services Ltd, as the chief commercial officer.[10][11]
