Adewale Adeleke (born December 11, 1988) is a Nigerian music executive. He is the owner and CEO of HKN Music.[1] Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Adeleke relocated to Lagos, Nigeria in 2010.
Early life and career[edit]
Adeleke was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1988, to Adedeji Adeleke and Grace Ajunwa.[2] He is the brother of Nigerian singer Davido. In 2010, Adeleke obtained a business administration degree from Pacific Union College.[citation needed]
Adeleke served as one of the executive producers on Davido's debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo, which was released by HKN Music in July 2012.[3] The record label was nominated for Record Label of the Year at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards.[4] In 2015, Adeleke was appointed executive director of his father's Energy Company, Pacific Energy.[5]
