Early life & Education[edit]
Son of a prominent United Kingdom based, Gujarati Real-Estate entrepreneur and investor, Adhum was born in Shoreham-by-sea, Sussex, England. Adhum did his schooling from Lewes priory school in Lewes, Sussex. He started working in finance soon after finishing school when he got a job offer from Natural Resource Capital as a Business Development Director, following which he dropped out early in favor of work from the Bhasvic College in Brighton, England.
Career[edit]
After moving to Dubai and working for a real-estate company he realized his inclination towards the investment side of property than the selling side. With this mind set, he started working for Pura Logica, a subsidiary of Allianz Holdings limited. During his tenure he worked on several significant business deals including the purchase of an intercontinental portfolio, acquiring and packaging of a hundred storey tower in Sri Lanka[3]. He also facilitated the sale of precious stones that the company owned. After his stint there, he moved back to London and began his private investment undertakings. He first invested in Pocketlife Concierge, which is a Zurich based company which now goes by Eyes.ch, as part of his investment umbrella. He then went on to work at Imperial Corporate Capital, a UK based real estate Investment Company, as a Non-Executive Director and was integrated in the board soon after, as the Chief Strategy Officer.
It was when his work with Allianz Holdings that inspired him to come back to London and make private investments of his own, realizing he could secure his capital following a simple model by significant safety margins. Adhum firmly believed in security and real estate investments, deeming them most secure investments and the easiest to liquidate whenever called upon.
