Note for the reviewers: most of the information here is provided by me as a witness of this school (seeing as how I am in it) which allows the article to be a bit longer. Also the reason why the references are like that is because I don't want the references being "spammed" in the reference section like how my other articles have.

The mulberry primary School is a primary school located in London , United Kingdom and is one of the largest Haringey school which contains over 750 children, most of which are put into years (e.g Year 6), but , there are exceptions of that rule seeing as how there is a special location in the school itself for children with Autism which is in the second largest playground the school has. The mulberry primary school teaches children from ages ranging from 5 to 12 , with the 12 year olds heading off to a Secondary school by applying on the website the school has.

Uniform[edit]

The uniform which the school itself requires children to come in with everyday (except sometimes for Thursday when there's Physical Education), the teachers monitor the uniform which the children wear almost every day , checking if they've brought in the uniform for that respective day. If a child does not come in with a uniform, or inappropriate footwear ,(some appropriate footwear include black shoes) they will be asked to change it into uniform, that also includes coming in on Thursday in P.E. kit , which will still make you change. The uniform is described as reflecting the pride and sense of belonging of the person wearing it , seeing as how every child in the school wears that respective uniform.

P.E kit[edit]

The P.E (physical education) kit includes the following:

  • Black shorts / Black tracksuit bottoms
  • Plain white Tee-shirt
  • Plain , school logo or black sweatshirt
  • Plimsolls or trainers

Online homework[edit]

The mulberry primary school mostly ,but not totally, creates homework on a site founded in 2011 titled "J2e" or otherwise known as "Just 2 easy", the website itself has a simple layout , and allows pupils and teachers to create and edit pages of work. The homework on J2e which the school provides their children with on every Friday evening is fairly simple and includes Inference tasks or watching a video.

Phonics[edit]

The mulberry primary school also sometimes occasionally holds Phonics groups where a special teacher takes some of the children -mainly children which have English as their second or third language- to either up stairs in the Library. The year 1 children will have daily streamed phonics' lessons which improve their understanding of the English language , and how to talk in it. However , year 2 children get phonics' lessons four times a week until they are secure enough to write and speak in the English language. While in nursery, the children there will be taught each week in ways which include doing activities which are about phonics and practice them throughout the week.

Priorities (rules)[edit]

The priorities in this school are ones which you'll find in any other primary schools across London and are simple to understand and follow.[1] A list of all of the priorities can be found below this line, all of them are coming from the same reference.

  • Consistency: the priorities embedded into the school enable all pupils to be able to follow them to link their knowledge within and across subject areas, teachers help this to happen as well which leads children to understand them even more.
  • Leading by actions and examples: The leadership at all levels enables the children and adults in the school to excel through high-expectations. Allowing people to trust one another , including the development of trusting the adults in the school.
  • Equality: Race and cultural identity shall be respected by all people including the children and adults in the school by allowing everyone to learn the same thing , at the same time and to be kind with all other people.
  • Teaching children: teaching children is the key to understand and make them feel equal to one and another which allows all pupils to remain as the central to all learning in the school.

Provision for Autism[edit]

The provision for Autism is the provision for people which have Autistic disorders and the provision itself helps the children with the disorder to learn by using images and short text which helps them learn.
