Aditya Lal is an Indian Actor born on 6th January in Delhi. His work spans across theatre, advertisements, film and digital web series. Lal was first seen as Arun in ALTBalaji's web series Fittrat[1]. In 2020, Lal has received critical acclaim for his voice and performance as a distinctive villain in another Indian crime thriller web series Asur

Early Life & Background[edit]

Lal was born in New Delhi, India. His hometown is Pragpur, which is situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Lal is the prodigy and great grandson of Rai Bahadur Justice Sir Jai Lal who was a dignified judge of Lahore High Court in pre independence era and was the Judicial advisor to the Maharaja of Patiala. In 1918, Rai Bahadur Justice Sir Jai Lal built India's first heritage country manor, The Judge's Court in Pragpur. Aditya along with his parents and grandparents owns The Judge's Court upholding the Anglo Indian architecture for this 103 years old heritage manor.

Education[edit]

Born and brought up in Delhi, Lal studied at Vasant Valley School after which he went on to Loughborough University in England and holds a degree in International Business and Dramatic Arts.

Career[edit]

Lal was an undergraduate student where he first acted in a staged play and won Best Actor for the play in East Midlands region. Aditya says that acting happened because of a friend of his, who forced him to participate in a staged play. And he found his true calling in that.[2] He then returned to India and went to Mumbai to pursue his career in Bollywood. He worked in Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company for several years and in 2018 he signed his two big roles in Fittrat and Asur. In 2019, web series Fittrat was released where Aditya Lal played the role of Arun Aawasthy[3], the CEO of Daily News and friend of the lead actor. In 2020 web series Asur, Lal played the role of antagonist against Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti and was acknowledged and appreciated for his voice modulation and a perfect fit in the strong ensemble cast.
