Adnan Kabbani

Shaykh Adnan Kabbani was born 27 August 1947 (11 Shawwal 1366 AH) in Beirut, Lebanon, younger brother of Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. Like Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani, he also studied Sufism under Shaykh Abdullah Fa'izi ad-Daghestani.[1][2]

He is an Islamic scholar and has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Often outspoken against extremist Islamic views, he has worked tirelessly for many years to promote Sufism around the world.[3]

He died on 25.11.2018 (17 Rabi’a l-Awwal 1440 AH) in Tripoli, Lebanon.[4]
