Adrian Nasafotie

Adrian Nasafotie (artist) was grew up in two Hopi villages, Moencopi and Shungopavy. He attended school in Long Beach, California. Later Nasafotie attended Haskell Indian School where he studied welding. He began his creative endeavours at the age of 9 working with cloth, leather and feathers.

In 2009 Nasafotie entered the 76th annual Hopi Show sponsored by the Museum of Northern Arizona. His sculpture, a kachina carving titled "Quest," was awarded Best of Show.[1]
