Adrian dev
Adrian Dev is an American actor, producer, and presenter. He is known for his roles in the HBO series Westworld, the Disney+ miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Disney live-action film Mulan (2020). Dev has also worked behind the scenes as a producer and has served as a presenter at the National Film and Television Awards.
Early life and education
Dev was born in Houston, Texas. During his childhood, he lived in Chicago, New Jersey, and New York City, where he was introduced to theatre. He attended Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas, and was active in sports including football, tennis, and track. He later enrolled at the University of Alabama, where he was a walk-on for the Crimson Tide football team.
Dev eventually moved to California to study television production. He attended UCLA and California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Career
Dev began his career in entertainment as a production assistant on the James Franco-produced project The Adventures of Thomasina Sawyer and as a stand-in on Amazon’s The Big Sick. He made his screen debut with minor roles in films such as Vice (2018) and The Laundromat (2019).
In 2018, Dev was cast in a recurring background role in HBO’s Westworld. He went on to appear in various television series, including SEAL Team, Medal of Honor, Hacks, and Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks.
Dev played the role of Red Fire Rouran in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Mulan (2020). He later appeared in the Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) as a member of The Path on the planet Jabiim.
In addition to acting, Dev has producing credits on projects such as the short film Before I Go and the horror film Craving. He has also served as a presenter at the National Film and Television Awards in 2018 and 2019, where he was recognized for Outstanding Performance.
