Adsmurai is a digital marketing agency specialized in paid media and social advertising. It also develops ad-tech Managed-SaaS that works with e-commerce and online services to maximize ROI in all types of product-based ad strategies.
The company is headquartered in Barcelona (Spain), with offices in Madrid (Spain), Málaga (Spain), Ciudad de México (México) and Bogotá (Colombia)

Adsmurai was founded in 2014 by Marc Elena, Juan Antonio Robles and Otto Wüst. Soon, the company was selected by Facebook to become one of the 10 enterprises to be part of the Facebook Accelerate programme in Ireland. Partnerships with top social media players started in 2015, when Adsmurai became an Instagram Marketing Partner in the “Ad-tech” category, which lets advertisers manage ads by planning, buying and optimizing processes..[1], and also in 2018 when it became Google Premium Partner[2]
After closing 2018 with 40M revenue, 60% more than the year before, Financial Times included Adsmurai as one of the 1000 fastest growing companies of Europe with an absolute revenue growth of 2201% and ranking 36th.[3] Furthermore, Adsmurai became an official Marketing Partner of Pinterest, added to the Advertising specialty in company with other enterprises such as MakeMeReach.[4]
In 2020, “El Confidencial”, one of the leading newspapers in Spain, highlighted Adsmurai as one of the 6 Spanish start-ups to closely follow.[5] And the same year, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 973,8% and ranking 148th, Adsmurai was again part of Financial Times’ 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe.[6]

Funding[edit]
Adsmurai has secured a total amount of 5M€ in funding[7]. The first investment round was from Axon Investment in 2015 with 1M€[8], and also achieved a second round of 4M€ in 2017 led by Axon Investment and Banc Sabadell.[9]
Achievements[edit]
In 2014, Adsmurai won a Bully Award for European Innovation given by White Bull Association.[10]
In 2016, Adsmurai received alongside with Arena Media, an YTAL Award (YouTube Ads Leaderboard Award) for its work as a media agency for Estrella Damm in the presentation of the trailer for the summer short film “Las pequeñas cosas” with Jean Reno and Laia Costa.[11]
In 2020, alongside with Sancho BBDO, OMD and Oriental, Adsmurai was nominated that year to two Effie’s Awards for the campaigns “El poder de la tranquilidad” in Sustained Success category, and “Envidia de la buena no existe” in Financial Services and Insurance category, which won a bronze Effie. In both campaigns, Adsmurai was in charge of the creation and implementation of the strategy for social media, tracking structure and optimization of the campaigns.[12]
That same year, Adsmurai won a National Award of Communication (Premi Nacional de Comunicació), given by Generalitat de Catalunya, in the Advertisement category, for becoming a technological benchmark in the industry worldwide thanks to the development of its own technology.[13]
