Agus Irawan (born 10 September 1983) is a politician from the Great Indonesia Movement Party who served as Regent of Boyolali for the 2025–2030 term. He has served since 20 February 2025 after being inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at the Istana Negara.[1]
In the 2024 Boyolali Regency Election, Agus ran as a candidate for the 2025–2030 term of office, partnering with the Golongan Karya Party politician, Dwi Fajar Nirwana. This candidate pair succeeded in winning by gaining 427,350 votes or 62% of the total valid votes.[2]
Biography
Agus is recorded as having attended Sindon 2 Elementary School (1990–1996). He then continued his education at Tanjungsari Islamic Middle School (1996–1999) and Ngemplak 1 State Senior High School (1999–2002).
Before entering the world of politics, Agus worked as a State Civil Apparatus with his last position as a staff member at the Youth and Sports Service Surakarta.[3]
