Ahmed Ghanam (أحمد غنام) is an Egyptian journalist, writer and politician.[1] He was born on December 18, 1988. He has several creative works, in addition to his articles and writings in various newspapers and electronic publications.

His life

Ahmed Ghanam was born to an Egyptian father and mother. He was born in the city of El-Mahalla al-Kubra. He had only two sisters. He worked in various jobs until he entered the press, and then his creativity began to flow.

Study

Ahmed Ghanam graduated from the Department of Greek and Latin Studies at the Faculty of Arts at Mansoura University. He received a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the same university. He worked as a newspaper editor and editor in chief at Al-Dustour newspaper,[2] El-Tahalof Gate, Ajel, Hadramout Net, Gulf 365 [dot] com and Al-Wa'am Saudi newspaper.

Works

Ghanam's works have been published in most Egyptian magazines and newspapers, most notably Al-Hewar Al-Motamaden, Al-Dustour newspaper and Al-Wa'am Saudi newspaper. He also led a campaign to preserve the paper press from extinction.[3][4] He also led a campaign for freedom of information legislation.[5][6]

Political life

Ghanam participated in the revolution of January 25 in 2011, and was one of its leaders in the city of El-Mahalla El-Kubra, and joined Socialist Popular Alliance Party. He worked as a spokesman for the party[7], and finally moved away from politics.
