Ai Laika is a garage punk all-female band formed by former members of Slow Ride Home and Undercurrents on October 11, 2008 in Kiev, Ukraine. The band currently consists of Nastia (lead vocals/bass guitar), Lucy (drums/backing vocals), and Lera (lead vocals/rhythm guitar). The first recording was a demo released in June, 2010 on the first punk-boat with the support of Stinx and Riot on the Radio.[1] Ai Laika! play a fun mix of dance punk and garage rock. In 2010 came their first demo, which presented six songs. In 2012 was released "Pretissimo EP ", which presents 4 new songs. The group received no small popularity in Kiev and beyond. Ai Laika! performed at several festivals in Ukraine and Russian and is also actively continuing their concert.[2]
