airbackup is a proprietary online software that backs up and restores business data.
Features
airbackup is an online backup system that is available for Windows 7, 8, Vista and XP, as well as Mac OS X Version 10.6 and later. It is also available for Windows Server 2012R2, 2012, 2008R2, 2008 and 2003.[1]
Users can select one of three plans: Business Basic, Business Pro or Premium. All users can backup and restore files, folders and network shares for an unlimited number of servers, computers and users. The higher two plans provide users the ability to backup and restore System State, MySQL Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SQL Server databases.[2] In addition, they provide longer retention and storage space. airbackup Premium also provides users with a hybrid backup approach to allow for a faster restore.
airbackup includes additional features such as a web-based management console, option for bandwidth throttling and BackupBoost™. BackupBoost is a technology within airbackup that provides benefits such as data compression and automatic data deduplication so that only new data is backed up.[3]
airbackup is owned by TeamViewer GmbH, which was founded in 2014 in Uhingen, Germany. The company also owns TeamViewer, Monitis and ITbrain.
Security
airbackup contains private key encryption codes, client-side 256-bit AES encryption prior to data transfer and 128-bit SSL encryption during end-to-end data transfer. [4]
Data centers meet international standards compliance: ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 50001:2011, OHSAS 18001:2007, SSAE16 SOC-1 Type II or PCI-DSS. [5]
