Akal Sahai (1)

Akal Sahai (Gurmukhi: ਅਕਾਲ ਸਹਾਇ, Meaning With God's Grace) is a Sikh motto and slogan, Akal refers to the "Almighty God" and Sahai to "His Grace". The inscription "Akal Sahai" is used a lot on Puratan Shastars (Sikh weapons) normally found on the blade or the inside on the hand guards. It was common inscriptions on shashtars in the format of ‐ Akal Sahai <Name of the Person>, it also found on coins of the era of Sikh Empire and Sikh Misls.
