Al Baraka Bank Egypt has been operating since 1980[1] as a part of Al Baraka Group, which is considered to be one of the pioneers of Islamic banking globally.

The bank operates with a network of 32 branches[2] throughout Egypt’s Republic; covering Cairo, Alexandria and Delta, the Bank aims to have a geographical expansion through increasing the number of branches in most governorates by the end of 2025. The bank employs more than 1,000 qualified and skilled employees to provide the best banking and banking products and services to serve more than 150,000 customers.

Al Baraka Bank was awarded by Global Business Outlook Magazine “GBO” as the Fastest Growing Islamic Bank in 2022[3], it has also been listed in Forbes' Top 50 Listed

The bank is also developing a new 3-year strategy plan[6] that aspires to strengthen its activity in the Egyptian banking market.
