And then started working in International Finance (1974-1989) and became Director of development and negotiation at the Société de la Banque Occidentale (SdBO), and Director of international subsidies at the Crédit Lyonnais (1985 to 1989).[1] He wrote three books on this subject.

Artist life[edit]

From 1968, he starts to paint and sculpt. From 2005 he dedicates his life to his art. His work is inspired by different styles and artistic periods : abstract art, surrealism and symbolism.[3][4]

Fond of technology, he creates in 1981 the first painting "phonosensitive".[5][6][7] This unique process consists of paintings that reacts to sounds with lights through a transparent surface. He also specializes in the sculpture of Baccarat crystal which he works with a hammer.

From the mid-1990s, he produced various works for institutions or commemorations. In 1996, the UNESCO asked him to sculpt a trophy in crystal for the UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh prize for tolerance and non-violence.[8] Three years later, he illustrated the book of poems "Vent d'Autant" by Federico Mayor Zaragoza.[9] In 2007, he initiated a work on the Holocaust with survivors of the Jewish genocide called Rescapés de la Shoah : Courage, Volonté, Vie.[10][8] He realised portraits of many survivors such as Stéphane Hessel and Martin Gray.[11] This collection of paintings was exhibited at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France, in 2014. In September 2016, 36 paintings were exhibited at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, inside the Palace of Nations.[8]
