Alastair Stout
Alastair Stout is a British actor.[1] On 27 May 2025, he was confirmed to be cast as Ron Weasley in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter television series.[2] He will star alongside Dominic McLaughlin and Arabella Stanton as Harry Potter and Hermione Granger respectively.[1] Filming is scheduled for the summer of 2025, ahead of an expected release date in 2026.[2] Unlike his co-stars, Stout has no other acting credits, except appearing in Albert Bartlett's advertising campaign for the Jersey Royal potato.[3]
