Alberta, Missouri

Alberta was an unincorporated community in Henry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] The community was located on Missouri Route 7 approximately four miles east of Clinton. The community of Coal is about three miles to the southeast.[2]

History[edit]

A post office called Alberta was established in 1884, and remained in operation until 1901.[3] The community had the name of Alberta Steele, the child of a traveling salesman.[4]
