Aleit Swanepoel is a wedding and event planner and the founder of the Aleit Group, an event and wedding coordination consultancy in South Africa.[1][2][3]

Career[edit]

Swanepoel was born in 1974 in the town of Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa. He attended the University of South Africa. He began his career working as a restaurant manager, later joining Distell, where he was handling corporate gatherings and weddings as the events and national function manager.[1]

Swanepoel also hosts his own celebrity talk show, Tyd met Aleit.[4][5][6] He has also authored a book "100 Words about Weddings".[7]

The Aleit Group[edit]

In 2002, Swanepoel founded The Aleit Group, as a wedding planner consultancy focusing on destinations weddings in South Africa. Currently, the Aleit Group has branched out into the design, media, catering, bar and staffing, decor, entertainment and venue management sub sectors.[8][9] The group is also part of Wedding Coordination Association of South Africa.[10]

In 2016, Aleit group managed the Wedding of Rolene Strauss.[11][12]
