Alejandro Akara

Alejandro Akara (born September 22, 1999) is a Mexican-American television and film actor best known for his debut in the Netflix film No One Gets Out Alive as Carlos. Alejandro also appears as Leo on season 2 and 3 of the FX Productions show Mayans M.C.. He starred in the indie horror film The Nameless Days as Rahui. In addition, he will appear as Bud in the forthcoming Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer produced film Dark Harvest by Matt Tolmach. He is also announced to participate on the Paramount+ western horror film Organ Trail.[1]

Alejandro gained recognition early on in his career with the lead role of Diego on the USC School of Cinematic Arts student short film Headlock,[2] which placed as one of the 7 finalists nominated for the 2020 Student Academy Award.[3]

Alejandro is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. He was part of Mexico's National Taekwondo Team and over several years of competing in the sport he received numerous gold medals across multiple National, International, Pan-American tournaments and the World Open Tournament in San Luis Potosi before he retired.
