Alex Kautz
Alexander Carl Kautz US: /ˌkaʊtjs/ (listen) (September 13, 1994 – Present) is an American singer and songwriter.[1] Best known for his single Don't Turn out the Lights,[2] Kautz amassed over 500,000 Spotify streams[3] and more than 50,000 YouTube views[4] in his first year as a professional LGBT musician.[2]
Career[edit]
Kautz began his career in Dallas, Texas,[5] singing and writing songs at the age of 13.[6] He gained notoriety in 2019 after being featured in Taco Bell's "Feed the Beat" campaign following the release of his third single, Bad Habit.[7]
After facing initial rejection by major record labels, Kautz formed his own independent label, "Haus of Kautz Record Label,"[6] and subsequently released a combination of original songs and covers.
