Alex Sheinman (born May 23, 1996) is an American talent agent and philanthropist. He is the co-founder of talent management company Snapback Agency and charity group Makin’ Lemonade Fund.

Career[edit]

Sheinman’s career started while at Pennsylvania State University. While studying entrepreneurship, business, and communications in college, Sheinman took note of successful sports business conferences at institutions across the United States, namely the University of Michigan.[1] Led by Sheinman, the inaugural Penn State Sports Business Conference was launched in 2018. Kim Pegula, Saquon Barkley, and James Franklin have headlined the event in the past.[2] The conference is sponsored by Penn State, Pepsi, and Morgan Stanley.[3]

In 2022, Sheinman and digital media entrepreneur Jack Settleman created Snapback Agency.[4] Snapback Agency is a Los Angeles-based digital creator talent agency that represents entertainment and sports influencers, including Frank Michael Smith, Jack Settleman, and Jenna Bandy. With Snapback, Sheinman has worked with companies, such as Gillette, Puma, Wendy’s, and Google.[5]

Philanthropy[edit]

During March 2020, Sheinman founded Makin’ Lemonade Fund, which is a registered 501c foundation. The goal of the organization was to rally college-age people to raise donations through sponsored interactive activities, with the money they receive going to the CDC Foundation, Direct Relief, and Feeding America.[6][7] Makin’ Lemonade’s team has over 300 students from 90 universities.[8] In its first eight weeks, Makin’ Lemonade Fund received $125,000 in charity.[9]
