Alexa Sciuto (born February 21, 1996) is an American comedian, influencer, and activist. She performs stand up, improv and other forms of comedy in Baltimore, Maryland and other states in the midatlantic region of the US. She is active on TikTok with 16,200 followers and produces content related to social justice and education. Her most viewed video has 1.3 million views. She is vocally opposed to Moms for Liberty and frequently counters them and other right-aligned efforts in Maryland. Her content was featured on The Big Sunday Show, The Balance with Eric Bolling, LibsofTikTok, and in an article by Fox News Digital. As a career, Sciuto is an educator.

Early life and Education[edit]

Sciuto grew up in Baltimore County, Maryland and attended Perry Hall High School. There, she began performing improv through the school's improv club. After graduating, she started an improv club at The Community College of Baltimore County, where she also earned an asscociate of arts in teaching in Spanish. In 2017, Sciuto began doing stand up comedy in Baltimore. Sciuto transferred to Towson University and graduated with a bachelor of arts in Spanish in 2018, and went on to earn a master of arts in teaching secondary world language from Goucher College.

2018-Present[edit]

Sciuto performs improv and stand up comedy in Maryland and surrounding states. Sciuto joined TikTok in 2018, and grew her account to 16,200 followers and several million views. In December, 2022 Sciuto's content was criticized by Fox News Digital. Earlier the same year, her content was noticed by Newsmax and LibsofTikTok. Feeling misrepresented by the presentation of her content, and seeing the same happen to other American teachers, Sciuto now advocates against acts of stochastic terror. Sciuto is a moderator of the Facebook Group, Maryland - Stop Moms for Liberty and occasionally speaks at board of education meetings throughout the state.
