Alexander Gut
Rainer Alexander Paul Gut (born 1963) is a Swiss-British chartered accountant and entrepreneur.
Life[edit]
Alexander Gut studied business administration at the University of Zurich, where he received his doctorate in 1995 for his thesis "Auditing OTC derivatives for banks". He completed further training as a certified public accountant.[1] He worked as an auditor and consultant for KPMG and Ernst & Young. In 2003, he was promoted to the Executive Board of KPMG Switzerland. In 2007, he became self-employed and founded a corporate finance consulting firm called Gut Corporate Finance. He has been a member of the board of directors of Adecco since 2010[2][3] and, from 2016 to 2020, was a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse.[4] His father, Rainer Gut, is a bank manager and honorary chairman of Credit Suisse.[5] Alexander Gut was a member of the Board of Directors of Holcim, or LafargeHolcim, from 2011 to 2017.[6]
