Alexander Palacios (born 20 July 1982) is a German artist based in Basel, Switzerland.
Born to a German mother and Peruvian father and growing up in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Palacios started his career in 2002. Palacios won the Hasselblad Junior Contest in 2010, with a portrait of Ajak Deng.[1][citation needed]
Palacios' free-lance career brought him to Basel, Switzerland where he opened his atelier in 2010. His photography was showcased in an art exhibition[2] and appeared in Vogue, Glamour, ELLE, and Architectural Digest.[citation needed]
