Alexander Uttendorfer is a German entrepreneur, venture investor, and marketing strategist. He is known for leading international startup programs, founding multiple companies, and overseeing global marketing efforts for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He has held leadership positions in early-stage venture capital and specializes in global go-to-market strategy across Asia, Europe, and North America. Uttendorfer is also a competitive runner, ranked 8th nationally in his age category for the 1000-meter event in Germany.[1]
Career

Uttendorfer is the founder of four companies, two of which have completed successful exits. His business activities span digital marketing, international expansion, startup acceleration, and B2B SaaS advisory.[1]
He served as Program Operating Director of the Founder Institute Korea, the South Korean chapter of the world's largest global pre-seed accelerator. During his tenure, he supported more than 20 early-stage startups through investor readiness programs, fundraising support, and global expansion strategies. The Founder Institute has a global portfolio value exceeding $30 billion.
In 2018, Uttendorfer led international marketing efforts for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games through his company, Seoulian.[1] Under his direction, the company collaborated directly with the Olympic Committee to target international audiences. This initiative contributed to over 300,000 international tickets sold and helped the event surpass one million total ticket sales.
He later joined Relevant Skills Development Inc., a United States–based venture studio, as a founding C-level executive. The company builds scalable systems for startup growth, including market entry infrastructure, go-to-market automation, and AI-driven business development tools.[1]

Uttendorfer was born in Germany and lived in South Korea for eight years. He attended a national middle school in Seoul without prior knowledge of the Korean language and later became fluent. He speaks German, English, Korean, and Russian.
He is based between Southeast Asia and Europe and maintains an active role in global startup ecosystems. His personal interests include hiking, electronic music production, and building systems for performance-based growth in technology companies.
