Aleksey Mihaylovich Kryukov (Russian: Алексей Михайлович Крюков) is a Russian historian, teaching Latin and Ancient Greek at the Moscow State University. His greater field of study is Byzantine philosophy. Besides that he is known as the creator of several TrueType typefaces, resembling historical styles for the Greek, Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, among them Theano Didot, a revival of the Didot typeface of Firmin Didot.
