Ali-Han Ibragimov (Russian: Али-Хан Ибрагимов; born 19 February 1998) is a Russian tech entrepreneur and filmmaker, who is also a co-founder and CEO of MOORvision Network.
Early life[edit]
Ibragimov was born and raised in Krasnodar, Russia. In 2013, he moved to Vienna, Austria, where he attended Danube International School.
Career[edit]
Ibragimov began writing a script and producing his first ever project, an action-adventure video game titled Antinomy, in 2013. He then casted Dave Fennoy and Adam Harrington as the voice actors for the main characters in 2015,[1][2][3] and locked in Inon Zur as the lead composer in 2016.[4][5][6][7]
In August 2017, Ibragimov co-founded and became the CEO of a record label called VSOP Records. He also acted as a manager for the two artists that were signed to the label. In September of the same year, he helped organize a concert for the label’s artists, as well as some local artists, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.[5][6] In the same month, Ibragimov moved to Los Angeles, California, where he met and began working together with Rashan Allen as MOORvision Productions.[5][6]
In the winter of 2018, Ibragimov and Allen co-created and produced multiple videos for Bone Collector’s YouTube channel.[8][9][10][11] In fall of the same year, Ibragimov locked in a $45,000 investment to produce Bompton Had a Dream,[12] a feature film based on a NAACP ACT-SO award-winning play A Dream Deferred that Allen wrote in 2015.[13][5][14][15]
In fall 2019, Ibragimov and Rashan Allen have co-founded MOORvision Network, a technology and media services startup, with the goal of retaining ownership over their work and empowering other creatives.[13][16][17]
In January 2020, Ibragimov left VSOP Records and stepped down as the company’s CEO.
On April 22, 2020, Ibragimov’s debut feature film Bompton Had a Dream was released on MOORvision Network. Ibragimov also was the sound editor for the film and did the sound design for it.[13][18][19]
