Alexis Monga
Alexis Monga is Founder of the “Le Democrate” political party of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). From February 1992 to May 2012, Mr. Monga served in the United States Army. As a senior military leader specialized in Finance and Accounting, his expertise brought him to serve in the battlefield for the United States in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo.
Prior to his U.S military service, from 1988 to 1992, Mr. Monga was the owner and CEO of Rapid Express, a carrier company in Washington DC metro area. He also worked to the office of public relations for Zaire SEP, the largest Congolese petroleum storage and distribution company, from 1980 to 1986.
Mr. Monga holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa and and Industrial Mechanics degree from Technical Institute of Applied Science (ISTA) in Kinshasa, DRC.
He is married to Elie Monga. Together they have three daughters, Peggy, Bijou, Joelle; two sons, Audry, Jeremiah.
