Mohamad Ali (born February 1990), known simply as Ali[1] (@somearabguy), is an American Rapper, Singer, and Songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for his singles "Mona Lisa" Featuring French Montana, "Presidential", "Juice", and "I Do The Numbers".
Early life
Ali was born in 1990 in Dearborn, Michigan, to two Lebanese immigrants.[2] As a teen, Ali was in and out of Juvenile Correction facilities and Jail, which was where Ali states that rap music became a coping method, as well as a way of life, who passed time participating in freestyle rap battles. Upon his release, Ali shortened his stage name to "Ali" and began releasing music under the label name, Moe Musik. Ali owns several businesses across the United States, which he uses to fund his music career, as well as support the lavish lifestyle that he lives. His businesses include a physical therapy/chiropractic center, a medical revenue management company, an independent record label, as well as several other business ventures in the medical and recreational cannabis industry.
Career
In February 2020, Ali released the single "Traction" featuring Detroit Producer and Recording Artist Dre Butterz.[3][4][5][6] He quickly followed up with his next single "Presidential"[7][8][9] Produced by Detroit Producer Helluva. Between March and May 2020, Ali released the singles "Wonderlust", "I Do The Numbers"[10][11][12][13] and "CashApp" which was featured on World Star Hip Hop’s Instagram Page.[14] His song "Juice" was released in August, 2020 and was Produced by the iconic production duo Cool & Dre.[15] "Made Men" was the next single from Ali, which released in October 2020, and would be his last release for the year. In January 2021, Ali released his first single of the new year, "Mona Lisa" Featuring French Montana.
