Alise Haijima also known as Haijima (Born May 8, 1998) is a Latvian singer,songwriter and social media influencer.

Biography[edit]

Born in Riga, Latvia to a family of mixed race, Japanese father and Latvian mother. She became nationally known since the first season of X faktors Latvia in 2017. Later on Haijima was signed to a record label Urban concept[1] released her represent single Krāsas which was aired on Radio SWH[2] priekšnams. Her single inspired the artist to make a little collection of her merchandise called .Later on she debuted as one the main singers of the annual concert performance Cabaret O[3] by Virusart[4]. She has also participated in the 6th season of song competition on national TV Supernova[5] in the team of Samanta Tīna.

Early life[edit]

She was born in the Center of Riga, Latvia and moved to Nagoya, Japan where she lived for 10 years, until her family moved back to Riga in 2009. She started to play piano at her grandparents house at the age of three, but never got to fully learn the sheet music. Her father was a musician who took her to local karaoke places where Alise actively started to sing in front of the people. Her parents noticed her talent of singing at early years. Afterwards she moved to Riga and started to take vocal lessons by famous Latvian singer Uģis Roze, which lead to her first singing competion Nāc sadziedāt in 2012[6] Later on she participated in a small local pop group MIO, which lead to her first international singing festival in Vilnius, Lithuania, 2013. Few years later, she was accepted to take vocal lessons by Nijole Berezina, who raised and coached many Latvian famous singers. Berezina sent Alise to various international competitions, including her own - Aprīļa pilieni.[7][8] Alise took a major part in Lithuanian international singing competitions such as Baltic voice 2016, where she wona second place and Klaipeda 2017[9], where she won 1st place in her age category and a queen status of the finalists, which was aired live on national Lithuanian TV.
