Evan Alistair Crofton (born September 3, 1992), known by his stage name Alistair Blu, is a Canadian singer, rapper, producer, and recording artist.[1] Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Blu is now based out of Montreal, Quebec, where he produces, records, and performs as one of two lead vocalists with the Canadian band, Busty and the Bass.[2]

Early Life
Alistair Blu was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. He graduated from Oak Bay High School in 2010.[3]
Busty and the Bass
In 2011, Blu joined up with eight other McGill University jazz students to form a band that would later become Busty and the Bass.[4] In September 2017, Busty and the Bass released Uncommon Good, their debut, full-length, studio album. [5] The record contained singles “Up Top”, “Memories and Melodies”, and “Common Ground”.[6]

On August 17, 2017, Blu put out his debut single, “Sweet, Damn, Hold the Phone”.[7] On April 27, 2018, Blu and The Posterz rapper Nate Husser released a joint effort, “Insane”.[8]
