Ally Adnan

Ally Adnan (Urdu: علی عدنان , born Nov 4, 1964) is a well-known Pakistani newspaper columnist and a music critic. He has written many newspaper columns about music and has conducted video presentations of Indian Classical Music[1][2]. He also works as a movie critic and a journalist[1][3] for leading English language newspapers in Pakistan.[4]

Career[edit]

Adnan's talks and presentations on the Qawwali (an art form of singing in a group) and Indian classical music have been well-received by audiences in Pakistan,[5][6][7] Hong Kong[8] and the US.[9] He has also given these talks on Major Television Networks in Pakistan.[1][10]

Adnan lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Sharoot Malik, and their two kids.[11]
