Carlos Javier Aloy Gomez, known as Aloy de Valencia or simply Aloy, (born 19 August 1986 in Valencia[1]) is a rapper from Spain.

Biography[edit]

Aloy started rapping in 2001 while listening to recordings by Kase-O and spent some time in the group "cazike crew". But he preferred to continue as a solo artist.

In 2006, he made his first demo called El verso magico with 12 tracks, followed in 2007 with another demo Tomatelo como quieras that was produced by Alianza Estudios. In March 2008, he launched his third and most successful demo, Alguien debe serlo with singles such as the title track "Alguien debe serlo" and also "Portate Bien". In 2010, Aloy released a greatly anticipated demo called Pata negra with collaborations with Kinky Bwoy and with Mu-D. Also he took part in many rap battles from 2006 on with MC Eidma, Charly, GMC, Kapo, Invert and Chester at Richard New Look winning freestyle title with Mowlihawk. Aloy was also involved in a feud with the rapper Porta, a feud that made him even more famous. He has also been criticized for obscene and aggressive language.

Aloy's first studio album is La voz del barrio that was released on 29 February 2012 on Sound Blaster Records[2] with mixed reviews but great popularity on YouTube. A promotional video was filmed with the theme Una voz del cielo and was recorded in Paris. The album contains collaborations with Nyno, Saik, Scorpion, Nassim, Danny Romero, Kinky Bwoy and Tamara.[3]
