Alper Özdil (born June 8, 1982) is a Turkish independent musician, artist, producer, application & game developer, writer, podcaster. He is a multi-instrumentalist, and multi-talented independent artist.
Bio
Alper Özdil was born in Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey on June 8, 1982. At the age of 6, he was selected for a musical conservatory with 100% scholarship with the help of his absolute pitch and relative pitch skills; however, he left his education and started getting private piano lessons. In junior & senior high school, he was selected to be the head of the Art Club because of his talents in art. He experienced a vast variety of visual arts and studied the history of art. He won several interscholastic art competitions, and his paintings & drawings were exhibited in several art galleries under the school's name. In parallel – after piano lessons were mastered – he started self-teaching himself electronic music production and digital tools with the help of developing technology and focused more on synths and keyboards instead of classic music.
After a long break from his music hobby, he published his first experimental & instrumental album Singularity Transformation in 2020. (More details in the artistry section below)
In university, he chose to study Geophysics Engineering because of his analytical skills in math and physics. He graduated from Kocaeli Üniversitesi in 2005; however, he then chose a career path in Information Technologies by obtaining multiple certificates and started working at IBM, where he has worked for 15 years, most recently as MEA IT Services Delivery Manager / IT Project Manager for Tech Services. In 2015 – (with the help of self-taught expertise in coding & programming) – he founded his independent mobile game & application studio Garlic & Mushroom Entertainment and has published many applications exclusively on Android OS. All graphics, UI/UX, programming, coding, and marketing are handled only by him. The studio is still active.
In 2020, he initiated a Turkish Psychology & Philosophy Podcast named Fikirdemeler (Still active on all podcast streaming platforms). He started a second University Bachelor's Program in Psychology in 2020 to support and further develop his knowledge & interest in Psychology. He also publishes related Blog Posts on his website.

Apart from his business career, he never stops experiencing and experimenting with many things at the same time – mostly art and science related – as having an ENTP personality and 7w8 enneagram type.
Having a wife and child, to experience, learn, and experiment more, he sleeps in 4-hour cycles like Da Vinci did.
Learning and mastering new knowledge is a huge part of his daily routine.
Artistry
Having experienced a vast variety of art in childhood and maturity, he is considered a multitalented artist. His active fields of art are Sculpting, Digital & Traditional Illustration, and Scaled Modeling.
Currently, he is illustrating many children's books (not yet released) and is responsible for the illustrations in a tabletop role-playing project named RolePlay Elixir. Apart from that, he is working on commission requests for fantasy-related drawings.
He has several international and national awards in scale plastic modeling.
Music is another long-time art-related interest. He published his first experimental & instrumental album, Singularity Transformation, in 2020. Though he dislikes categorizing, songs in this album consist of many genres like downtempo, electronica, dark ambient, dark wave, cinematic, etc., and are inspired by A.I. and Singularity, as the title says. Song titles were selected in order to tell a story of an A.I. which tries to become a human and regretted it in the end. He is now working on his second experimental genre-free album. The figure on the Album cover in Singularity Transformation is his daughter.
