Aman Kotish (born 8 January 1990) is a Punjabi actor from Kanjhla, Punjab, India. He started his acting career in the industry from Punjabi music videos, and his debut music video was Peshi Karamraj Karma. His first big music video was "Vaardat" by Harf Cheema, and to date he has done more than 100 music videos with renowned singers in the Punjab film industry like Diljit Dosanjh, Amrit Maan, Dilpreet Dhillon and many others. He got his first big breakthrough in 2014 when he signed his first Punjabi Movie Romeo Ranjha. Kotish has done five films in Indian regional film industries, including Punjabi, as well as Bollywood to date.[2]
Early life
Kotish was born in Kanjhla village, Sangrur district, Punjab. He belongs to a Hindu family. Kotish says he had dreamed of becoming an actor during his school days, but his parents wanted him to get a job because they thought there was no scope in the film industry. Kotish has a post graduation in Theater and Television from Punjabi University, Patiala.[2]. Kotish has signed a few more movies – JADDI SARDAR, PARINDEY, AAPE PEIN SYPEE – which will be released in 2020.
Career
Kotish moved to Chandigarh after completing his post graduation in Theater and Television to get his first role. Kotish worked for 4 years in theatre before entering movies. After a lot of hard work, struggle and dedication, Kotish signed his first movie in 2014, "Romeo Ranjha". To date, Kotish has worked in various Punjabi Movies like "Mitti Na phroal jogiya" as Kaila Singh, "25 Kille" as Dharminder, "Rupinder Gandhi 2" as Gacha, Ranjha Refugee as Sajid Khan. Kotish has also worked in the serial "Paltan" in a negative lead role as Asid Khan, which was telecasted on DD National.}}[3]
